Avenue Dance is an inclusive, non-competitive ballet & dance school in Orange, NSW.

We offer a carefully designed program that builds technique, creativity, performance skills and confidence.

Our dancers train in classical Cecchetti Ballet method, supported by a love of movement and joy of dance.
Beyond technique we nurture qualities like focus, teamwork, resilience and self awareness - skills that shape both dancer and individuals.
With every step, every challenge and every goal, our dancers grow, improving not just in dance ability, but in determination and discipline.

Teachers
Miss Emma
Miss Emma is a dedicated and nurturing teacher with a passion for forming a lasting relationship with dance. With years of experience in classical ballet (RAD & Cecchetti) and teaching, she creates a supportive environment where dancers of all levels can thrive and feel safe and seen. Miss Emma is known for her commitment to each students’ growth and learning, patient guidance, technical expertise, and ability to inspire confidence and artistry in her students. Her teaching style balances discipline with encouragement, helping each dancer achieve their personal best while fostering a love for dance.
Classes
BALLET
​
Offering Cecchetti ballet syllabus to
develop the dancers abilities in a safe and encouraging group class or
one-on-one coaching lesson.
​
Maestro Enrico Cecchetti created a method of ballet for professional
dance training that focusses on technique & artistry.
​
Students may elect to complete their Cecchetti Syllabus exams in
Sydney, or are encouraged to complete their internal exam.
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
​
Classes can be introduced into the timetable with minimum numbers met. Please don't hesitate to speak with Miss Emma Directly if you are interested in classes or styles that are not yet timetabled.
LITTLIES BALLET
​
Littlies is where it all begins. In the interest of igniting the dancer’s passion,
Littlies classes are predominantly ballet & musicality based, as well as some
jazzy numbers to appeal to the groovers who just need to move.

ADULTS BALLET
​
Saturday 8:30 Adult Ballet is suitable for beginners, returning and
rebuilding dancers. Students can expect to learn suitable grade progressions and primarily focus on retention and technique.
Casual attendance is accepted, though beginner dancers are
encouraged to attend regularly.
JAZZ
​
Jazz classes combine appropriate warm ups, safe technical skills &
choreography.
​
Combined aged classes will harness leadership opportunities & role
modelling.
POINTE
​
Pre-pointe classes is a 30min class usually at the end of a Ballet class in the
timetable.
Miss Emma has been coaching pre-pointe programmes throughout her
teaching career, assessing students strength & conditioning in preparation
for a recommended physiotherapist pointe assessment.
